Dear @EnvAgency.
In February this year, after 4 years of asking you to look after the Aldersbrook, I led a team of volunteers to do your job for you & clean out tonnes of silt & leaves, as well as hundreds of bags of rubbish. Through the effort of community volunteers & donations, & at zero cost to the taxpayer, we turned a forgotten silted up ditch back into a river again.
Last nights intense rain storm showed why our actions are the very definition of “strengthening water resilience”. A huge amount of rain fell in a short time, but the restored section of the Aldersbrook has been able to hold 100’s of thousands of litres more water, stopping this water running into the Roding, & thereby *reducing* local flood risk. The first photograph below is of the Aldersbrook after the rains this morning- a big contrast to the area before we did the work.
Perhaps more importantly, this water, instead of running straight off into the Roding & hence the sea is now being held in the Aldersbrook & gradually released so it can be used by nature. It is feeding marshes, trees & wildlife, topping up groundwater & helping to reduce our flood/drought cycle. If you want to strengthen water resilience, we need thousands more projects like the Aldersbrook around the country.
So the question I ask you, Environment Agency, is why you are threatening me with two years imprisonment, rather than offering to meet & discuss how we can work together to restore the Roding & its tributaries, which could become a blueprint for you cooperating with local river guardians nationwide?
The great Israel Parliamentary debate stitch up
I've just totaled up the amount of time each side had to speak during the parliamentary debate yesterday on Israeli influence over UK politics.
The pro-Israel side had 1 hour and 9 minutes to put forward their pro-Israel views.
The anti-Israel side had 15 minutes only to put forward their anti-Israel views.
So in effect, the pro-Israel side had 82% of the speaking time during the debate, and the anti-Israel side had 18% speaking time.
This wasn't a debate, it was a forum for Israeli hasbara and propaganda.
And it proves exactly why 117,000 people signed a petition questioning Israel's influence over UK politicians.
Blackpool Police have launched a manhunt for two men who racially abused a woman and pushed her down a set of stairs at South Pier Promenade in Blackpool on the 29th of May 2026.
It happened around 6 :11 PM.
Let's make them famous.
The 10th anniversary of the Brexit vote is a good time to remember the man who negotiated the biggest act of self-harm in our history, selling out farming & fishing, erecting huge barriers to trade and making everyone worse off, just because he fancied a bash at being PM.
“Louise Beardmore pocketed £2.5million, up 79 per cent on the previous year, and including a bonus of £830,000.”
Worth every penny I’m sure.

The kid has been arrested because he stole the dog. Dog clearly too big for kid to be walking alone. Dog has rabies and gets distracted by ducks and drags kid into pond. Kid cant swim because they didn’t teach it at school. Policeman cant swim either because swimming is woke. Ladies at shop clearly stealing groceries. Ive checked on gov website and neither of those cars have tax or MOT.
South East Water are already begging customers not to use water.
That’s what happened when your corporate greed gets the better of you and you simply haven’t invested in enough equipment to meet demand.
Another water company that should be back in public control, today.
The UK has only hit 40c on one day in our history. That day was only 4 years ago, and we're about to do it again - and in June.
Climate change deniers? You're as dumb as antivaxxers
We're entering science-fiction territory with these numbers. England forecast ~16°C above average. Potentially 5–6°C above the previous June record.
Records falling by several °C at once suggest we are witnessing something far outside the climate many of us grew up with.
My agenda is so convincing that it's managed to trick every weather station in the country in reporting rising extremes for decades.
Either that, or shouting 'I remember 1976' is not actually a scientific argument. 🙂
