NCAA FB Oversight Committee today moved forward legislation to eliminate the 2-year postseason probationary period for transitioning FCS teams, sources tell @YahooSports. DI Cabinet now must adopt the change.
If adopted, Sac State and ND State would be bowl eligible in 2026.
Louisiana's Matt Deggs tried to brawl with the whole James Madison coaching staff 🍿🍿🍿
All the chaos ensued after a Cajun player blatantly tried to truck Dukes' 1B on a bunt play.
Notable: A new proposal by the FBS oversight committee would allow FCS-FBS transition teams to be eligible for bowl games right away at 6-6, rather than having to wait a year or two.
Would apply for NDSU and Sac State if advanced and approved in the summer.
I’m not the first to say it, but it rings true. No one gives a shit about mediocre P5 teams. The soul of college basketball is the little guy getting shot at the true powers.
Fewer (ideally zero) teams that go under .500 in their leagues. That’s what literally everyone wants
For the P4 fans crapping on this schedule:
1. VA Tech canceled on us a month ago because they didn't want to play us
2. For the P4 fans saying we need to play better teams, I look forward to your AD taking a call from AD Roan & agreeing to play us instead of sending him to vm
@JMUSoundOff@lukecombs Respectfully, who gives a damn about what Luke Combs thinks? You think he even understands the CFB landscape on the level that the rest of us do?
JMU DOES IT 🏆
The Dukes secure their second Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship with a 69-52 win over Troy! This will be their 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

The hot seat stuff is crazy. If JMU won two of the OT or buzzer beater games it lost this year the talk would be whether Dayton or Cincinnati might come after Spradlin.
