I think two things can be right about this. 1. There are some that take this to a parasocial level there is no denying that and 2. There are those who have made this conversation adding colorism and sexist comments there is no denying that either
so many ppl minimizing this to “yall are parasocial” & it’s just a matter of critical thinking. you don’t have to like her to understand that she’s a clear target for misogynoir, respectability politics & ppl who are casually cruel about violence against women. it’s that simple.
There's always been new music thats the fucking problem with the fucking "Why is rap trending down" conversation, mfs are so stuck on they same artists like the mfs that say "Ain't no good games out" but only play NBA2K and CoD bro shut the fuck up at the point
When people have been lied to, manipulated, used, and misrepresented, trust gets fractured at the foundation. Once that happens, unity doesn’t come easy. Everybody’s operating from different wounds, different truths, and different survival instincts.
Trump process might be harsh, but always end with grace…. One thing I learned about being an American and traveling in the world only us Americans think locally while everyone else think globally and I our news show us things that the world don’t see and vice versa, but I’m sticking with my president… respectfully
@iamMelsmith I think the beef really didnt do any favors for both definitely not Drake...I get go low but going lower...It really didnt do anything for J Cole at all but save whatever reputation he had left. Kendrick gained more popularity at Drake expense still wanna see Joey vs Kendrick...
This man embarrassed some notable west coast rappers "Now, I'm hearing shit about some nigga named Ass Cheek" that was equivalent to what Drake did in Family Matters to Ross and them outside Kendrick. If Kendrick ever pop out and doesnt respond to Joey then yeah picking targets
Joey Bada$$ thinks lyrical rappers avoid collabs so they don't get bodied on their own song and mentions J. Cole and J.I.D as an example.
Jaÿ-Z's recently expressing his opinion that collaborations would be better for hip-hop than battles has the internet talking, and Joey Bada$$ is weighing in with a strong opinion. On Tuesday afternoon (March 24), the Brooklyn, N.Y., rapper shared several tweets addressing the topic.
"Everybody talks about how we shouldn’t beef and we should spar more on records but truth is niggas don’t wanna be wanting to collab out of fear of getting bodied on they own record," Joey tweeted. "This is exactly why you didn’t see JID on The Fall Off. He would’ve OVERSTOOD the assignment. To me personally, it made no sense he wasn’t on there but hey maybe that’s just me. 🤷🏾♂️ btw I loved the album but let’s be fr."
Joey later expressed that he was not shading J. Cole and has love for the Dreamville head honcho.
"Let’s stay focused on the sentiment of lyrical rap as a subgenre and friendly sparring," Joey added. "It’s the most scarcity mindset lane of rap. There’s a lot of brand protection going on which is understandable lol."
@scrufacejean No one screwed Drake but Drake I'm tired of this whole campaign against Drake thing. It was just competition at first until Drake mentioned women and he lost by his own method of going low. We can talk about Domestic abuse and pedo allegations sure but Drake took it that route
@gilliedakid I gotta disagree bro...Everybody was Drake side with Meek, no one took Pusha seriously until SOA, but if you look at all the antics Aubrey did between 2018 to now all the crazy pot shots he took at folks for no reason people hated him. Plus he was lying too bro
Idk what it is with the Pac hate maybe it has to do with the fact that maybe he's one of the most complex rappers to the point no one's legacy can match that...Mind you Kendricks Lamar 5 year gap was Pacs entire studio career, the movies, the events, the deals, poetry, all of it
Please do not take anything these two Aubrey dickriders have to say as credible...I will say is how the fuck do you still lose when you had the propaganda machine behind you Rory & Mal, Wackademics, and the streamers. We need the excuses to stop this went to court and still lost
Rory from the New Rory & MAL podcast recently claimed that an alleged producer in Kendrick Lamar's circle personally told him that "Mal was right," seemingly in reference to his take on Drake winning the beef:
"I've pushed back on Mal with this entire Drake and Kendrick thing... talking about super-producers, which I'll tell you off mic. A producer that is very much tied to that side, I saw in person. He pulled me aside, he whispered in my ear, 'Mal was right.'"
"I know the internet won't believe anything I'm saying. Y'all favorite producer over there was like, 'Yo, Mal right.'"
