@IndependentInv4 I cannot recall if you hold BSIF? If so, any initial thoughts on where to deploy (obviously pf balanced-dependant but always value your posts). Maybe time to dip a toe into covered call ETFs. Thanks.
@IndependentInv4 Hi David. I remain wary of covered calls ETFs though part of me sees the attraction. Did the LLMs offer an explanation for JEGP decline these past 2 months (& in comparison to e.g. QYLP)?
@whu32@karenwi17092279 Just checked your 1st May pf - meaningful exits. Thanks for sharing - enjoy your updates, and look forward to seeing your 'other targets going forward' in due course.
@Finumus1@MattPachent Talking of a Monevator article - are you still looking at doing a health/longevity piece? Hope so, think it would be an interesting read.
@IndependentInv4 So...you are out of FAIR, then? Sounds like they could be moving to a more sustainable set-up, with a 4th Qtr top-up ('special') dividend approach going forward. Am holding for the moment.
@IndependentInv4 Hi. What were its thoughts on QYLP and Covered Call ETFs in general? Max [5]% of pf? A good time to buy, or wait for any sell off first (if at all, obvs)?
@SIPPAdvisorUK I see you are back posting - always a good read. Almost tempted to go over to the dark side in your absence: have you seen the growing number of Covered Call ETFs now available to UK and European investors? Dividend yields of anything between 10% - 20%. What could go wrong?
@LoftusSteve@Daves1412 Hi. Why is it โnot 40% cheaper than the alternativeโ (natural gas)? Surely mad to claim this if easy and unequivocal to disprove?
