I am a addict in recovery i have been to hell and back many times i have lost loved ones and have nearly lost myself I have learnt from this. Recovery has given me a chance to live again and a chance to inspire others to get into recovery. There is hope, recovery and freedom
I am proud, and I feel honoured and humbled that I have been put forward for a care award. I absolutely love doing what I do. i will continue to be lighthouse of hope for the people that need it. ##NHS#RecoverySupport#recoveryjourney
Taking the first step with a new adventure a new direction a new goal can be the hardest part of the journey. To challenge this get into a will do mindset, get people that support you around you, talk about it, and break it down to manageable chunks if needed, #journey
What has over 12 years in recovery taught me?
Its taught me that if I put my mind to something I can do it, its taught me safe healthy boundaries, its taught me that not everyone believes in me, and taught me this is okay. I have found a peace.
