As the grandfather recounts the miraculous survival of his granddaughter, who is barely two months old, from certain death after more than 150 settlers burned down her family’s home in the village of Urif, south of Nablus, while she was in her crib.
In a video documenting the aftermath of the fire, the little girl looks at her grandfather with an innocent smile amidst the charred walls of the house.
