HQ has just returned from a BFS to Hamburg. An extremely interesting and worthwhile trip allowing a busy staff to conduct professional development through the prism of Op GOMORRAH and the Firestorm in 1943. Special thanks to @RACPD for their support in enabling this study.

Alongside @NHSuk and a drone company we have collaborated to support cancer sufferers on the Isle of Wight.

The civilian drones, based at @7AirDefence, slashed the medical supply delivery time from 4-5 hours to 30 minutes.

Yesterday our Deputy Comd and Firm Base WO hosted Mr Peter Bloomfield and his sons Michael & David: former residents of RAF Thorney Island in the 1950s and 60s.

It was arranged as a 91st birthday present, with Peter not having stepped foot on the island since 1968! #heritage
