@svarma08@DukeSchindlerTV@buckets "Offensively" please learn to read. Obviously the defense was elite but on the other side of the ball he didn't provide anything special on offense that a normal starting 3&D guy couldn't
@svarma08@DukeSchindlerTV@buckets Notice how I didn't say "Castle is a better defender". Castle is a better all around player at this point. Kawhi offensively was a mid tier 3&D wing in his 3rd year. Castle is one of the better playmakers in the league with much more scoring versatility than Kawhi had.
@IVIarcus16@DukeSchindlerTV@buckets Kawhi used to be my favorite player lmfao. Dudes think they're so profound when they say a player is better with worst stats and call everyone else a "box score watcher". Kawhi at this point was a better defender. Castle is much much more polished offensively.
@Knickshottakes@LetsTalkKnicks_ No, it's not even close. 6/10 of the guys who played in that game aren't on the team/aren't even getting minutes anymore. Sochan, Tre Jones, Cedi Osman, Zach Collins, Malakhi Branham, and Blake Wesley
@DukeSchindlerTV@buckets Kawhi at the same age as Castle was worse and that's not really a debate. Obviously not saying Castle will be better but when Kawhi played with Timmy and TP he wasn't as good as Castle is now.
@Knickshottakes@LetsTalkKnicks_ Don't forget he had 40/20 in that game and willed a garbage Spurs squad to an overtime win. That ball was his to do whatever he wanted with.
@MichaelGower2@WembysCastle The Knicks played the 15th and 16th ranked defenses in the Cavs and 6ers. 3rd and 4th worst in the playoffs. The only semi respectable defense they played against was the Hawks at 9th and they took them to 6. They're not ready for the Spurs defense.
@mysticjimbo@morelikemensa The dudes post is saying he can hurt you in the SAME way Champagnie can, which is high efficiency on high volume shooting. That's just blatantly false.
