I clearly need to spend more time with Fusion 360. Started to design a custom case for a PCB I designed and built, and it was a struggle to even get it partially done tonight.
Finally setup my @Prusa3D Mk4 with Prusa Connect, and while doing the setup, I don’t see that the iPhone changed the name of the printer. Didn’t realize it until it was done, and now there’s no way to change it? Come on! Changing device names should be easy.
I’m looking for recommendations for an online course on #Fusion360 for #makers. I’m aware of the @iliketomakestuf course but want to see what else is out there. I recall another course coming out a year or two ago. Thanks in advance!
Recently purchased and assembled a @Prusa3D Mk4 printer kit. Everything went flawlessly, and the first print came out perfect. We’ve sure come a long way from bed leveling, z-height adjustments, and constant tuning. Looking forward to using this new tool!
My new @Prusa3D Mk 4 printer kit has arrived, but I’m busy playing IT guy for my wife. Her laptop won’t boot, so doing a re-install. Once that’s done, then I’ll start putting this new tool together. Can’t wait!
I ended up getting the Prusa after finding the @BambulabGlobal X1C was way too loud when printing at higher speeds. After building the Prusa I3 Mk 3S+ for my wife’s classroom, I was sold on their instructions and quality.
After assembling the Prusa i3 Mk 3S+ for my wife’s classroom, I was sold on them. Fantastic instructions and beautiful prints every time. Had also considered a Bambu Labs X1C, but don’t need multi-color and heard the Bambu is loud.
I’m surprised that it took me over 4 years of 3D printing to have my filament break during a print. Heard an odd noise and found the filament coming off the spool. Then I noticed it had snapped before the feed gears.
