The Thunder were at the bottom of the league 6 years ago.

They won 46 games from 2020 to 2022 and were on the wrong end of the largest blowout in NBA history losing by 73 points to the Grizzlies.

The 2021 draft was a little rough.

They took Josh Giddey at 6 over Franz Wagner.

And then traded Alperen Sengun to the Rockets for two 2nd round picks.

Everything changed though when Sam Presti and OKC's scouting department locked in for the 2022 NBA draft.

They took All-Stars Chet Holmgren at No.2 then Jalen Williams at No.12.

In the 2nd round, they drafted the ultimate glue guy in Jaylin Williams at 34.

Today, the Thunder have the best record in the league since 2024 🙌

And in the last 3 seasons, they've surpassed that 46-win total from 2020 to 2022 by at least 10.

How the Thunder managed to execute their rebuild has become the new blueprint.
