When you’re at peace, you’re showing God that you trust Him. That’s your faith at work. That’s what activates His power. You’ll see Him show out in your life.
Feelings don’t determine your destiny. Your life is in God’s hands. He sees what you’ve been through. He sees the hurt, the pain. He said He has beauty for those ashes. He said He’ll restore what was stolen.
The Psalmist said, “A good person may fall seven times, but the Lord will raise them up.” Sometimes, you can’t stand up on your own, but God is right there with you, lifting you, strengthening you, healing you, breathing in your direction.
God is saying, “Throw that net out one more time.” Start believing again, start dreaming again, start taking steps of faith. You don’t know what God is about to do. The reason it hasn’t happened yet is because it’s bigger than you think.
Instead of hiding what you're struggling with, go to God and admit your dependence on Him, saying, “God, I need You. Help me to change.” It’s not a weakness to admit you don’t have it all together; it’s a strength.
There may be things you’re believing for that seem far off, no sign in the natural. But like Abraham, you need to keep seeing it from a distance, trusting that God is working, welcoming the promise. God is going to do for you what He did for him. Breakthroughs are coming.
When every circumstance says, “It's never going to happen. It’s been too long. The opposition is too big.” Your attitude should be, “It may be small, but I still believe what God promised. I still believe what He started He will finish.”
Trust Him when you don’t understand. Being in an ugly situation doesn’t mean God is not working. We wouldn’t have the Messiah if it wasn’t for an ugly situation. Without that difficulty, you couldn’t become who you were created to be.
Has God asked you to do something hard, but you keep telling yourself you can’t do it? You have to change your mindset. He's given you the desire and the power to obey. This is the time to act on it, to take steps of faith.
Don’t let a day go by where you don’t say something kind to the people God put in your life. It’s not enough to just think it. A blessing is not a blessing until it’s spoken. They need to hear it.
If it’s not the right time, all your efforts can’t make it happen. It’s going to frustrate you. You can’t open a door that God has closed. In the same way, when it’s the right time, all the forces of darkness cannot stop what God has for you.
You’re never wasting time serving others. It’s a part of God’s plan. You can’t reach your destiny without that time of being faithful to another person’s dream. That’s showing God that He can trust you with your own dream.
The way to honor God is not by being down on yourself, living guilty, unworthy. It’s by receiving His mercy. The price has already been paid. All your sins—past, present, and future—have been taken care of.
Get a new perspective, start believing that you’re favored, declaring good things are coming. Then you’ll see your Heavenly Father turn impossible situations around and take you further than you ever dreamed.
Every morning, you need to make up your mind, “I’m going to live this day happy. I’m going to see the good; I’m going to be grateful; I’m going to love my family; I’m going to enjoy this day.” If you don’t decide how you’re going to live, circumstances will decide for you.
