@thanh_neville @jackykruser And not just in medicine. I can see this kind of thoughtful language could be used almost anywhere when there is a decision to be made.

@thanh_neville I heard a philosophy prof on NPR who had bouts of depression to the point of thinking about suicide. He studied many ways of living. He said a Zen master said, Hope, even if you don't see a reason to. (I'm a bundle of anxiety, but this helps me. )
@FrankMikeDavis1 I'm of the age of getting the vaccine, and occasional people asked why I didn't have the scar. --> My doctor put the vaccine on my butt just below where the bikini l would be one day. He told my mom it was also a harder place for a little kid to scratch it. =D
@Bobby_Don_Welch I'm so glad you took him home. My dog was estimated to be 7-9 years-ish. In the shelter, he wouldn't hardly lift his head. I said I'd take him.
