The video made at 15 year old JJ Gabriel's expense by a rival fan, the abuse & vitriol directed at the 19 year old Fletcher twins by his own fans, all of it should be a wake up call to how we treat young footballers.

When criticism or fun crosses a line, whether it is into abuse, or when from rival fans it goes beyond tribalism, it is not ok. Criticism can be warranted, tribalism is a long held part of fandom, but some shit is not ok.

Footballers are not robots solely for our entertainment & to be treated as such. They are human beings.

Rashford made his debut under LVG who was known for his slow and boring possession football with us. Players had to stick to their rigid positions.
