I think Rashford and Manchester United should have parted ways but let’s not act like he lied or said something completely untrue.
Marcus has been in an inconsistent, volatile and toxic environment at Manchester United. The last ten years at Old Trafford has been utter chaos, short managerial stints, positional changes, constant team changes, terrible player acquisitions. Any player with any sort of career ambition would make a move to a more stable environment.
Cristiano left United at his peak, Ruud Van nistelroy left, Rooney wanted to leave at some point, Peter Schmiechel went to city, Roy Keane slagged off his teammates in the media till Sir Alex booted him out, tevez left, cantona informed sir Alex he didn’t want to renew but suddenly Rashford is a bad guy for wanting more for himself.
I’m not a fan of the not running or tracking back or moodiness or whatever but the fact that we all act like this is the worst thing we’ve ever seen is the worst kind of bandwagon effect I’ve ever seen.
If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon.
Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability.
It leaves our workers unprotected and our streets less safe. It's time for a change.
I'm proud to support the Delivery Protection Act to crack down on exploitative subcontracting and build an economy that works for everyone.
I’ve clocked it - engagement farmers are tweeting back to back to back about Rashford because the monetisation on this app ends in September!
They’re trying to get the last bit of Elon money before they have to go get actual jobs 😭 Thank God it’s happening at start of season 😂
The video made at 15 year old JJ Gabriel's expense by a rival fan, the abuse & vitriol directed at the 19 year old Fletcher twins by his own fans, all of it should be a wake up call to how we treat young footballers.
When criticism or fun crosses a line, whether it is into abuse, or when from rival fans it goes beyond tribalism, it is not ok. Criticism can be warranted, tribalism is a long held part of fandom, but some shit is not ok.
Footballers are not robots solely for our entertainment & to be treated as such. They are human beings.
Some old tweets someone sent me, this guy wanted our captain to leave only for him to drop a record breaking season.
He is the worst thing to happen to this fan base after the glazers.
Was behind Mctominay, went out to be a key figure in Napoli.
Was behind Bruno, went on to have the best season a CAM has ever had in the league.
Now is behind Rashford.
Having opinions is fine but when you have millions of fans it’s more about accountability, you are not just a fan. Remember that.

Okay I’m starting this movement for a better Manchester United.
Block Mark Goldbridge.
If you want to remove toxicity from this fan base, share the word and let’s end this negativity from the fan base.

Rashford made his debut under LVG who was known for his slow and boring possession football with us. Players had to stick to their rigid positions. Then Mourinho came with the low block and counter attack, then Ole came with his high pace transition and free expression that Rashford had his best seasons under. Then Ragnick came with his rubbish 4222 gegenpressing formation, then Ten Hag came with his own automated attacking patterns(shoutout to him he gave us 2 trophies), then that fraud Amorim came with his 3421 bullshit formation. No single boss lasted more than 2 years since Ferguson retired. Each new coach brought a different tactical philosophy, formation and expectations. All this happened in less than 10 years.
How exactly isn’t this an inconsistent environment? Because it’s Marcus Rashford you people throw all sense of reasoning away and stick with agendas. Una go Dey alright sha
Apart from nearly dying from exposure to how cringeworthy this is, it is also not ok to try & use a young kid for some attention.
This is @YakzTweets. Yakz thinks it's ok to humiliate a 15 year old in public & online (& JJ Gabriel handles it about as well as you could expect).
