Everyone says that if you fire Bowles now, the players will stop playing. I disagree. A new HC will go over the tape of all the players and figure out who played hard and who didn't. It's why a new GM isn't a bad idea either.
Bowles on lack of pressure on Jordan Love, with 2 QB hits in 30 dropbacks: "Ball was coming out in less than 2.4 seconds, which he's very good at. The best starter in the league at getting the ball out. So we tried to concentrate on coverage ... that ball was coming out so fast."
Packers' Matt LaFleur in postgame: "I've got a ton of respect for Todd Bowles and what he's been able to do, not only today but over the course of his career ... I think that we also have to clean up a lot of stuff."
At this point, there is ZERO chance Todd Bowles cooked up that @Buccaneers Super Bowl LV defense. That masterclass had @TomBrady written all over it—he probably called the third-down stops from the bench. If Brady doesn't reply to this tweet to deny it, it's official.
“Close” with this team is an absolute illusion. Enough of the empty words, time to move on. Even the walls at One Buc are tired of hearing this. Greg, much respect to you; you do good work and deserve a medal for listening to this garbage every week.
Bowles said the team is losing close games and needs to learn how to finish them. It isn’t frustrating because they’re close, just that they’re 0-4. Said the need for improvement starts with him.
After watching the shit-show known as @Buccaneers football. I turn on Redzone to watch defenses ACTUALLY pressure QBs and also see offenses ACTUALLY scheme to move the ball… wild.
Oh, it gets better… the “John” / “Jon” (what’s the “h” amongst friends?) was the coach of an AFC team that started with an “R” and won the SB in the Chargers’ stadium.
Want to guess whose stadium the 2027 SB is in?
Bonus: we will beat our new coaches’ old team.

Hope you’re sitting down. 🤯
This fits right into the script of the Raise The Flags.
The last time the Bucs fired a defensive minded coach who’s name started with a “T” and hired a coach named “John” the very next year they won the SB🏆 with a QB who’s name started with a “B”
@StankBastard Interview was gold…
When asked about the “Prime Time” curse…
"We will turn the lights out when the offense has the ball at night home games. They say it’s never been tried before but I can’t find a rule that says you can’t do it. If they can’t see you how can they stop you?!”
