If I could inherit only one skill from only one director in all of history, I'd choose Spielberg's blocking & staging. Not only are these shots full of graceful spatial genius, but the storytelling rhythm of these flowing compositions are perfect as well. One of one.
Ludwig Göransson is already operating at such a high level as a film composer that you wonder how he can outdo himself, especially with The Odyssey. Creating familiarity while also something the audience has never heard. It's timeless: ancient and modern all at once.
