Blatant media bias and double standards.

Winston Peters calls a Te Pāti Māori MP a dickhead and it makes the 6pm news on channel 3 and is covered by Stuff, RNZ, 1 News, NZ Herald, and the Spinoff.

Te Pāti Māori MP, Mariameno Kapa-Kingi gives a speech in the house and states “You’re welcome that you (non Māori) get to live here at all”.
Most kiwis would be extremely offended and concerned by this divisive rhetoric, yet media gave it no coverage whatsoever, and there was no follow up with Te Pāti Māori or Kapa-Kingi.

NZ media are about as far away as you get from being neutral when it comes to politics.
