Only a few hours in but overall this is a Metroid game through and through. Just disappoints me this isn’t one of the best games in the series but it’s a good stepping stone to putting the series back in the limelight.

So when Dread was announced I was almost immediately disappointed and I tried to shove aside those concerns as I hadn’t played the game yet but man.

I touched on atmosphere with the “metallic hallways” thing and although it’s better than Other M most of the environment isn’t eye-catching, doesn’t help that it looks like an HD 3DS port.
