No doubt the two would work together on future assignments, but the Captain is making things clear from the start.

He nodded, he had no intentions of disobeying his new Captain, the man was intimidating and carried authority with him. Ryker did not want to be on his bad side. Though it was a shame his opportunities to see Chris were narrowing.
