They want us to pay 42m to a guy to rebound, make passing reads off the roll and catch lobs when I saw a rookie Dereck lively do that a couple years ago and Jd is not even as good a defender. It's not about how he improved or how young he is it doesn't make sense from a roster building perspective at all when Ausar is our defensive anchor and Cade is our offensive engine and we still have a need for a real second option.

I agree a wing would be better but I think from the beginning with ivey that was just always the vision for pistons fans or the dbook dream going back to your original question. I don’t think it’s stupid because Kyrie and Luka worked exactly how I described and ar and reaves as well. It might be ideal to run actions with a wing to hunt mismatches but Cades bread and butter is the pnr w jd anyway.
