Trust in the union is collapsing, regional and clan-based divisions are growing, and more communities are openly talking about reclaiming their own territories and distancing themselves from the federal project.

That is how deep the failure has become instead of strengthening one nation, years of corruption, weak leadership and political conflict have pushed people further apart.
