@latsondheimer There is no rule that determines a specific p/o div. for a league. That's why we have this model. If teams tie, the team that loses the flip should at least be placed in the next higher at-large bid or add teams to a division with a play-in and byes to the top seed(s) in rd. 1.
@chriscfore@coachjoe7 Also, there should be some sort of safety net for teams that TIE for a league Championship and lose only one game to get in if that's their only loss. Maybe the "Rim of the World" rule?
@chriscfore@coachjoe7 The 4 team league is a problem from the start. Why? 4 teams leagues almost always have ties which evokes a coin flip. As you said, you can't punish a team for scheduling in advance in today's transfer world. Teams are not always contenders year to year these days.
@TheFootballOG Most HS coaches are deep in their playbook and preparing for the next game. There is a reason why so many good kids miss out on a chance to play in college. College coaches know who the dudes are, but they are looking for the talented kid who is under recruited. It's real.
We have had more responses & DM's from this post than ever. Recruiting interest for the kids above picked up & some received offers after we posted this. Multiple college coaches have asked us for some more recommendations. DM us if you want to plays D2 or D3 be recommended.
Attention: College coaches looking for some talented 2026 players who are under-recruited in our area. Here is a good list of some guys that should pick up recruiting steam soon.
