Now I really want to get a hummingbird feeder or something, I can understand the appeal now, they're so cute and captivating, I want to see more of them 🥹

I tried to look on google to try and figure out what type it may be, but I don't remember much. It was larger than I expected, and dull-ish colors, maybe green and grey? so maybe this one?

Yesterday I was outside after 7pm or so when I saw the hummingbird, and it was around the same time, but nothing happened when I watered the plants. But as I was trimming dried stems, I heard a succession of interesting shurt chirps, and my hummingbird friend appeared briefly!

still feeling down today, husband went over to his family home to help out his brother with financial stuff.

Didn't have an appetite & feeling mildly depressed, out in our small backyard doing light pruning. Finally transplanted my poor plant from TJs

Yesterday was another rough day mostly spent in bed, but AC:NL and Fantasy Life got me through it. I'm fully convinced that the 3DS was the golden age of fun gaming.

Another busy day in AC:NL, Joan was in town, bought some turnips, Wendy came over to visit at noon, played lots of mini games by my lonesome & got a mermaid dresser, funded a bridge ALL BY MYSELF, got better at diving 🐠🦪🐟

I just stood there transfixed as it fed on nearby succulent flowers for a short while before it flew off into the quiet evening. I don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird at such close range, I was in awe of & very grateful for this rare, beautiful moment. 🥹

I hadn't been feeling well recently & was back to feeling scared, weak, unwell, critical, agoraphobic.

I was worrying about what I had eaten for breakfast while watering my plants outdoors & silently reciting my new mantra when a hummingbird popped out of the patch of plants

I just really wish that they had continued working on & updating New Horizons like they said they would ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

Anyway, if anyone has any cozy 3ds game recs, please lmk! 💕

but that being said, I do appreciate the quality of life upgrades that New Horizons gave us, I was stuck with only a shovel & fishing rod for my first 2 days, I'm going to throw a fit if new tools aren't available today (⁠┛⁠✧⁠Д⁠✧⁠)⁠)⁠┛⁠彡⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I saw a post on social media about this book, so I borrowed the audiobook from Libby and started listening to it late last night

It's fairly short, so I finished it quickly. It was not what I was expecting, but different and interesting. Here's my personal take on it

values, I personally agree with the book's message that we should not harass people out of a desire to make them conform to our personal idea of how they "should" be for their "own" good.

If they are functioning just fine, aren't hurting anyone or themselves, simply appreciate

I'm trying to just create art instead of feeling overwhelmed or being paralyzed by failed perfectionism, so I'm either working on or abandoning art & craft projects that have been sitting around
