In 2022, Schumer used the nuclear option to override the filibuster (60 votes) in order to attempt to pass Democrat election legislation that Biden would have signed into law. The nuclear option only failed because two Democrats, Manchin and Cinema, voted against the nuclear option.
Manchin and Cinema are no longer there. And the filibuster, 60 vote rule, is a Senate self imposed rule to maintain bipartisanship.
Bipartisanship is dead and everyone knows it.
Republicans should use the nuclear option and pass our agenda.
