Ridiculous Yellow Red against Embolo! Yes-stupid to dive&to give the Ref&VAR a chance for a sending-off, but there were so many attempts to draw a freekick during the worldcup & in this match and also no yellow cards for that or other unsporting behaviours (delaying the restart, mass confrontation etc)… The refs showed restraint and especially because of that this Y/R card was harsch!
In addition the main problem is that the #VAR protocoll didn‘t intend such correction by mistaken identity!
At all a very decisive, bad decision and poor performance by the Ref João Pinheiro- again after #FCBPSG …
