​If you were never used to worrying about your CIBIL score, it is high time you started focusing on it.

​There is a huge structural shift happening. In alignment with global best practices, the RBI is moving towards the 'Expected Credit Loss' (ECL) framework.

​This is a huge subject. I'll tell you what is relevant to you as an individual borrower.

​So far, a loan was considered clean as long as the EMI was paid on time.

​If your credit score is below 730, it is going to be mandatory for banks to create significant provisions. This ranges from 12 month provisioning to even full lifetime loss provisioning. Banks must continuously track SICR (Significant Increase in Credit Risk).

​Interest rates will be high for credit scores below 730 because provisioning and compliance costs for banks are going to be high.

​Especially for unsecured loans like personal loans, consumer loans, and credit cards - banks are already reworking their algorithms. Nothing will be automatically approved if the score is less than 730. The new norm will be manual underwriting, lower credit limit assignments, or outright rejections to protect the bank's forward looking credit parameters.

​Since borrowing from banks themselves will become expensive, you can expect the same with NBFCs and other similar entities.

​You can no longer ignore your credit score. It matters a lot.

Not exactly. The period between the fall in fertility and the rapid aging is the demographic dividend - we are in the beginning of that phase and will enjoy it for 25 odd years. The problem is that Indians are seeing a much sharper decline in TFR than most people (including policy makers) assume. This will make the post dividend decline sharper. There is no immediate "crisis" but also remember there is no "solution" when the problem will hit. Even if we learn how to increase births at that stage, the demographic pipeline is already hardwired as you cannot create a 30 year old without waiting another 30 years.

7 illegal Bangladeshis who had been living in India for the past 15 years were arrested in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Forged Aadhaar cards, Voter ID cards, and other Indian IDs were recovered from them. They were well-settled in Mumbai.

Just think about it. It took 15 years to identify and arrest these 7 illegal immigrants. If 7 people could remain undetected for so long, how many others might have been living across the country for decades using forged documents and false identities?

The poor showing at the protests reveals us exactly what GLISCO infiltrated and run platforms do:

Their algorithms are tuned to amplify dissent and program people against the state meddling in India's democracy. Since the algorithms fail to work in the real world, we see the reality of their reach.

Yet, the state has to take this seriously. The platforms aren't Indian and they seem to be used by adversarial forces freely to program Indians and the world against India. This is costing India economically, politically, and intangibly.

Knee-jerk reactions and blocking orders on some posts are not enough. And an outright ban is not the solution. The state needs to setup social media monitoring and rapid response cell to understand what's going on and fight the infowar.

Develop tools to empower citizens to report trends. And institute study groups that continuously monitor social media acting as various demographics in different geographic locations of India to see what the algorithm throws at each group to program them.

I strongly believe a Meitei in Manipur, a Muslim in Mysore, a Brahmin in Bangalore, a dalit in Delhi - each one is being individually programmed by the algorithm with adversarial propaganda to create issues inside India.

They are also programming people outside India against India, Indians, and Indian products costing India a lot. This is a multi-nation, state sponsored warfare against India which cannot be beaten by individual Indian netizens.

So there must be a state level solution and response too. Been continuously bringing to light this infowar against India and Indians for years now. Hope one day something is setup and done in an organized way.

Today, a Muslim couple came to our house to rent a room, but we refused.

#BREAKING: Two terrorists traveling in a silver Toyota opened fire at four separate locations, wounding six men in Israel.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Five others were evacuated to hospitals, including two in serious condition and three in moderate condition.
