If Agarkar is leaving as chief selector, it's India's loss. One of the best selectors India has had (personally, can't say with authority for pre-2000 period). It's a shame that the excellent squads picked didn't quite reflect in many of the XIs India eventually put out on the field. Even when there were disagreements from many, including me (which is inevitable), Agarkar clarified in detail to the press the thinking behind many of the choices.

The one point I liked about Agarkar is his eye for talent on the bowling side, based on raw attributes. Eventually, it is for the bowler to perform.

Fast-tracked the selections of Prasidh, Gurnoor, Mayank, Ashok Sharma and Co. T Vijay's selection for the India A side is the latest one.

Not going into a few other controversies. But the time has come to look beyond just Ranji stats.

mamitha's character had crazy potential to be unbearably cringe, but somehow she made every bit of it work. not once did it feel overdone. the character could've easily gone in a completely diff direction in someone else's hands. insane talent.

He needs to be more skilful than Sehwag to prosper at this level. The pitches are tougher, the wobble ball is more lethal in Test cricket, and he essentially won't get some of the Pakistan style flat pitches which were a bit common in Sehwag's era. He needs more versatility

Nolan completely flips that, making it his hero’s greatest sin, not because Troy lost, but because Odysseus weaponized the very concept of a gift, the symbol of trust itself, to commit mass slaughter.

Honestly though, I think that’s Nolan imposing modern guilt onto a man who was never built to feel any, and it kind of misses what made Odysseus Odysseus in the first place.

Yes, the bowling from Saqib in his second over was poor but the supposedly flat-track bully has scored 48 runs out of 59. The ball did just a bit off the wicket in the first couple of overs.

I think he is a better bat in slightly tricky conditions than 2-3 of them in this line-up. He has already shown that at the MCG, Asia Cup and one game in Belfast.
