BREAKING: The FCC has voted to advance a major expansion of satellite-to-phone services, potentially clearing the way for SpaceX to compete more directly with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.
The proposal would open an additional 482 MHz of spectrum for satellites to connect directly to ordinary smartphones, expanding the frequencies available for space-based mobile coverage.
More significantly, the FCC is considering relaxing rules that currently require satellite operators to lease spectrum from traditional wireless carriers. SpaceX has already spent billions acquiring its own spectrum, potentially allowing Starlink Mobile to operate more independently of existing telecom networks.
Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile have pushed back, warning that satellite transmissions in certain frequencies could interfere with existing 5G services.
Today’s vote begins the rulemaking process. No additional spectrum has yet been granted to SpaceX, and final regulations remain subject to public comment and further FCC approval.

🚨 SpaceX is winding down Falcon 9 and Dragon to go all-in on Starship:
• No new commercial Falcon 9 launches sold for after 2028 • Crew Dragon for NASA ends by 2030 • No bids on 3 new Space Force contracts
Elon says Falcon winds down once Starship flies several times a week.
Tesla brought wheelchair users in to test the Cybercab before it scales.
At last week's Accessibility Day, members of the disabled community tried the cabin, and Tesla says their feedback goes directly into Cybercab and future Robotaxi products.

eBay had a solid 3rd quarter. GMV & revenue both beat, collectibles & Live were strong, & they’re still buying back stock ($690M in Q3) & cutting costs.
For $GME holders the relevant part is the 43.39M share stake. At these prices it’s sitting around $5.4B, so roughly $1B in total unrealized gains (about $450M for GME's upcoming Q3), plus the $EBAY dividend.
The flip side is eBay stock is now basically at the old $125 offer, so another full bid looks a lot less attractive to eBay shareholders right now.
My opinion: if Cohen is still going after more influence, a proxy fight at the next meeting is the more likely next move than another takeover offer.
Owning eBay is working as an investment for Gamestop. However, with these results and positive forward guidance from eBay management future control by GME is a different, harder conversation now.
