I genuinely don’t understand the obsession with #iPhones in India.

One of my friends recently bought an iPhone 17 Pro for around 1.3 lakh. What surprised me is that the phone costs nearly 4 months of his entire salary.

It’s not like he was upgrading from some outdated phone either, he was already using an S25. And yet, he chose to pay around 12K EMI per month for 12 months just for the iPhone.

Compare that with the US, where an iPhone costing around $1,000 can be roughly 25–30% of a monthly salary for someone earning $3K–$4K a month.

Never buy a phone that costs more than 50% of your monthly income.

If you earn 1 lakh a month, spending 40–50K on a phone is atleast understandable. If you’re spending 1 lakh+ on a phone, it should ideally be an asset that helps you generate income, not just a showoff.

🚨 Is Demanding Money being normalized ?

Today, 5 Transgenders suddenly blocked us and aggressively demanded ₹500 each,
we refused to they simply lifiting skirt and we forcfully taking off with whatever cash we had and gave them... its around ₹2000 !

This isn't one incident happened to me.
During my sister’s wedding, over 10 Transgenders came inside, demanding ₹50,000. Even after being handed ₹10,000 cash to them, they shouted on us , scolded, and threw curses at my family !

Forcing hard earned money out of families during private events and everyday moments isn't traditional it's harassment on a happy moment.

hope Andhra Pradesh Police Department will take action on these kind of activities !
