Heartbreaking: Ball State freshman DB Gavin Yates-Lyons has passed away at the age of 18 after being shot in a parking garage in Florida.

Gavin was tragically caught in crossfire and taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he remained until his passing.

Ball State DB Gavin Yates-Lyons passed away at the age of 18 on Saturday after being shot in a parking garage May 24th in Tallahassee, Florida, one day after he returned home for his HS graduation.

Yates-Lyons was caught in crossfire & taken to a hospital in critical condition.
