Thank you to everyone who has made this game possible and to allow us to keep raising awareness and support for Men's mental health across Norfolk Cricket and beyond.
We lose the equivalent of a Cricket team everyday to suicide - that's why this is so important
Have a chat with someone this weekend, check in on a teammate, message someone you've not seen in a while
You never know the difference it could make
#ItsTimeToTalk
Our #WearItGreen weekend is here!!!
We have been overwhelmed by all the clubs that have turned their Socials green raising awareness and support for men's mental health across Cricket for men's mental health.
Our ask for tomorrow remains the same
Players, Umpires, Scorers, Supporters please wear something green, it really doesn't matter what, just that you do
Clubs, leagues, sponsors it's not too late to turn your socials green all weekend - your platform and reach will make a difference to the awareness
We lose the equivalent of one cricket team every day to make suicide
One man every two hours
A father, brother, son, teammate
We really want to make this year bigger and better than last - we know that every conversation matters - we can make a difference together to someone who needs support and help.
We just have to give a huge shout out to the @norfolkcricketfoundation for their support
And a special mention to @lewis_denmark - thank you from all of us at the Foundation and our Social cricket.
Please share far and wide...

Let’s go green for Mental Health!
This weekend (Sat 6th & Sun 7th June) we're partnering up with @856Foundation to support their Mental Health Awareness Campaign🎗
We encourage clubs & players to get behind the campaign! We also have a charity match on Sunday at Manor Park 🏏
It's midday 5th June and the 2026/27 King’s Lynn Town home shirt is now available to pre‑order
A modern tribute to one of the most iconic kits in club history.
This year, the shirt carries something even bigger: the 8:56 Foundation front and centre, thanks to Tony and Karen from WWSA Global Scaffolding Management donating the home shirt sponsorship to support men’s mental health across West Norfolk.
The cost of these beautiful kits are
Adult £60
Youth £44
And if you purchase one you will be directly supporting the Foundation and impacting men's mental health in a positive way
Every adult shirt includes a £5 donation to the 8:56 Foundation; supporting our Wellbeing Pathway and community programmes.
For every 7 shirts sold this funds a Talking Therapy Counselling session for someone who needs it
A shirt with heritage.
A message with impact.
A season with purpose.
Pre‑order now at https://t.co/CSe1P8jwUq.

8:56 x @officialkltownfc x WWSA
This means so much to us all at the 8:56 Foundation.
The Walks and The Linnets were everything to Lee.
They’re the reason behind the name 8:56 — a place he loved, a place full of memories, a place that meant so much to him - The Captain
To now see the Foundation carried on the front of the home shirt… it’s hard to put into words. It’s pride and emotion in equal measures.
A huge thank you to Tony and Karen Stevens at WWSA, who have donated the entire front‑of‑shirt to the 8:56 Foundation to help elevate men’s mental health across our community
Karen said: “We are delighted to become the main home shirt sponsor this year and to donate that sponsorship to the 8:56 Foundation… supporting people and making a positive difference in our community.”
Tony added: “Football has a unique ability to bring people together and start conversations. We’re incredibly proud to help showcase the 8:56 Foundation on such a visible platform.”
KLFC CEO and Captain Mike Clunan commented
“This support helps us reach more people, start more conversations, and provide more help to those who need it.”
And that matters — because we lose the equivalent of a full football team every single day to suicide in England and Wales.
And during the 90 minutes it takes to play a match, one man will die by suicide.
The smallest of conversations can be the difference.
We (obviously) think the shirts look brilliant and we hope you, the supporters will do too and wear them with pride if you buy one!
The Shirts will be available to pre‑order from noon, 5 June at https://t.co/Fga3d1AQIV and you will.

Proud to back the @856Foundation#wearitgreen campaign to raise mental health awareness over this coming weekend. We are turning all our weekend’s social media graphics green to show our support. We lose over 4500 men to suicide each year - more than 400 cricket teams...
Thank you @LowestoftTownCC
Your support means a huge amount to us and will help raise awareness for men's mental health.
It will help break down stigma and just remind people that every conversation matters!
