The Supreme Court just ruled and has denied the request to halt #BrandonBernard’s execution. That clears the way for the execution to proceed & absent a last-minute grant of executive clemency from the president, the Bureau of Prisons will move forward with the execution.

We’re still in a holding pattern two hours after the scheduled time of execution of #BrandonBernard as we wait for the Supreme Court to rule. For context: In July, SCOTUS didn't rule until after 2 a.m. & the execution of Danny Lee happened a few hours later after legal wrangling.
