She was walking arm in arm with Black men, staring down cops and violent racists with far, far less protection and security than the most famous billionaire pop star on the planet has.
The best part is she didn't name anyone. You got upset & defended a billionaire for nothing.
Joan Baez participated in historical events that had tangible impact on the country, like the Selma March where people died to achieve basic civil rights. She marched in Grenada for the sake of Black kids. She put her body on the line when she didn't have to. This is ignorant.
I'm just curious, when was the last time Joan Baez had to cancel a stadium concert because of a terrorist plot to murder her fans, or when Elon Musk last threatened to rape her, or when literal children were stabbed to death for the crime of being little girls who loved her?
@irenita3@SavedBoyz I do want to say thank you for replying and giving me your honest, thorough opinion. Even if we disagree it's refreshing to hear different perspectives in a polite way. Have a good day, enjoy your favs new comeback, I hope it goes well for them!
@irenita3@SavedBoyz I disagree. I think you can make that argument for New Emotions because it lacked their signature high sound, but Woohyun was recovering from cancer surgery at the time so it was difficult for him. If you listen to Way You Are or Umbrella from their newest, it's very Infinite.
@irenita3@SavedBoyz Their b-sides maintain a more "Infinite" sound to old school fans, you should give those a try. Personally I think their sound comes from their vocals, the other sound associated with them is contingent on who the composer is.
@irenita3@SavedBoyz Comparing songs to previous songs is not a critique on why that song is good/bad.
Clock has a chorus and bridge.
It not being a typical sound to them is good, it shows they aren't afraid to try new things. I do think it's a weaker title track for them, though.
Wow I'm bad at this lol. But also why is it exhausting trying to remember city names, I felt like I was taking a test in school again. I couldn't remember all the state capitals even 😭
Guess what major cities I've lived in
@INFIXINSPIRIT Tell Me probably makes more sense from a reach standpoint but I do love I Hate. That album has a lot of good tracks (Synchronise is one of my favorite songs)
