America deciding to put water breaks in the games to facilitate advertising is so disgusting man. @FIFAcom and American will pay man… it’s a travesty. How can you not focus for 45minutes 😐
This guy Jeremy Kazuhei Langdon has a rent to rent air BnB at the flats behind us and the guests keep filling our bins up… I see why people don’t want Airbnbs in their community. It’s fly tipping and a nuisance at this point.
He called today and said it wasn’t on @Airbnb_uk … when the listing literally has his phone number in it. Rent to rent is basically subletting which might be against the lease for the flats. I don’t care what people do but when it becomes an issue and is impacting
Every parent wants to keep their kids safe.
But doesn't want to hand over their photos to the nanny state.
And no adult should have to scan their face just to talk to a friend.
Enormous own goal for the UK
Sure to make UK tech untouchable to the rest of the world. (Except, perhaps, to dictatorships.)
And would slosh massive power to big tech companies.
Finally, it wouldn't take much for the nudity filter to turn into a dissent filter.
Well put by @signalapp
Richard Burgon just exposed the most glaring double standard in British policy
"Imagine if this weekend in London there was a Russian real estate event selling Ukrainian land. The government would ban it immediately.
Instead, we have an Israeli real estate event openly advertising the illegal sale of land in occupied Palestinian territories. The government recognizes Palestine. Why isn't this banned?"
They’re treating it like cctv… and we know cctv doesn’t stop or deter crime. Also this is a valid reason to never vote labour again. Unfortunately no subsequent government will repeal any of this.
Our statement on the UK government’s demand that all content on all devices sold or used in the country be scanned, on the presumption of nudity, using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning. This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all.

"I'm calling on tech companies operating in this country to introduce device controls that prevent children from sending and receiving sexually explicit images," Keir Starmer says
"If they chose not to, then we will act," the PM adds

This government will not stand by while children are put at risk online.
Today I am calling on the tech companies to introduce device-level controls to prevent children from taking, sharing or viewing nude images.
And if they don’t act, we will.
