No, I happen to know the war started in 1953 when the CIA overthrow Iran's legitimate government on behalf of Big Oil, and then installed the Shah, who robbed the country blind for the next 25 years, and imprisoned anyone who dissented.
When the Iranian people finally had enough and millions poured into the streets in a mass uprising in 1978, Jimmy Carter stupidly gave the brutal Shah sanctuary in the USA.....That's what provoked the student seizure of the US embassy, which could have been easily resolved had Carter sent the Shah back to Iran to face the justice he deserved, and met the students fair demand for an apology for the CIA coup. The so-called 47 year war on America never would have happened if the hard core cold warriors like Brzezinski had not so badly misled the hapless peanut farmer from Georgia.
Lol, he runs away calling her dishonest and all she did was ask him to provide evidence for claim he made 6 years ago and continues to make ... without evidence.
And people are saying she was disrespectful?? She should have called him a lying sack of orange shite. Still factual.
⚡ Progress in Ending Load Reduction
Eskom has successfully removed load reduction for 714 513 customers across South Africa — that's more than 42% of the targeted households. 🎉 The Northern Cape and Western Cape have already achieved full elimination of load reduction.
While the power system remains stable, illegal connections and meter tampering continue to damage infrastructure, create safety risks, and place pressure on local networks.
🔧 Eskom is working towards eliminating load reduction completely by 2027 through:
✅ Smart meter rollouts
✅ Integration of distributed energy resources
✅ Expansion of Free Basic Electricity (FBE) support
✅ Customer education and awareness programmes
Together, we can protect our communities and electricity network by using electricity safely, legally, and responsibly.

20 African countries have endorsed a "Family Values Charter" which is actually an anti-gay charter. South Africa and Mozambique (countries where same-sex relations are not criminalized) refused to sign the charter.
Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

Hi our public broadcaster: did you ask Jacinta for her data on tuck-shop ownership or what the President said about quasi-vigilante movements taking the law into their own hands? Or about the false stats on an alleged migrant flood? As a public broadcaster, you have enhanced power and responsibility.
She lured a young relative to Johannesburg under the pretence of offering her a job. She then fraudulently took out funeral insurance policies on her and allegedly colluded with the gardener to murder the relative. Every person in this story is South African.
