We haven't had a really decent Dem president since LBJ and JLC, who was derailed from seeking a second term by the Bushes/ Reagan MidEast hostage shenanigans.

And yes, that's the problem with the 2 party system: you only get 2 choices — worse and worst. We can dubiously thank lousy Billy Jeff & Pappy Bush for that, given how scared Ross Perot made them.
