@WarMonitor3 My Dads Dad was an Engineering officer aboard a British fleet flagship in the Asian theatre. My Mums Dad was patching up battle damaged RAF planes as he was below enlistment age.
@ChrisO_wiki@TheMindScourge I was just thinking, they built the walls around London and Fortresses all across the UK, they didnโt need huge castle walls because their enemies were lightly armed.
@OndrejFilip5@gregbagwell The shelters were not designed for protection from direct hits as precision weapons were not the threat they were designed for, however the shape is designed to deflect shockwaves, the doors on the design you showed have no such measures and would likely be ripped off.
