@Jasman9 Sorry but your talking absolute drivel. Most fans are realistic about evertons recent history in premier league and how difficult it is to compete for european football whilst balancing this with a cup run. What justifies your expectations exactly?
@DayNogs I agree mate, definitely not his best interview but let’s see what happens this season! Will give us a better idea whether moyes can take us forward! Hopefully baz gets hatrick tonight 😂Up the toffee’s👊🏻
@DayNogs I hear you mate, I was as guttered as every other Evertonian the way the season ended. But we need to be realistic and give moyes some time to build the squad. The fact we even had a chance of european football was a massive positive compared to previous seasons
@pdefc84 😂 hang in there buddy! Any Evertonian with half a brain cell will know Moyes has the best record of any manager in recent times at everton. Martinez did a ‘phenominal’ job in his first season but a big part of this the was down to what moyes left in place for him
@ShaySweeney1962 Bit harsh, I think any manager following Ferguson was going to struggle. They didn’t give him enough time. managers post moyes at united stuggled too to be fair
@rossEFC95@rawedgespassion I agree but much better than fighting for premier league survival. Moyes did this on a small budget - the question is can he win silverware given more funds. He ended the 43 year trophy drought at west ham 🤷♂️ our record either side of Moyes is worth looking at here
@jackoefc27 It’s not an achievement I agree, but no other manager has delivered that level consistently in 25 years ive been an evertonian. Maybe you can correct me? I just think we should becareful what we wish for, Evertons record either side of moyes suggests this in recent times
@rossEFC95@rawedgespassion Moyes built one of the best defensive units in the league, the holes in the defensive side of Martinez’s game were covered and allowed him to have a good season but didn’t last too long and quickly unravelled. Moyes sustained top 7 consistently.
@CharlieBarnicle We had a good season under martinez, thats a fair point. I’d argue this was on the back of the foundations moyes left in place. Martinez unravalled and proved he couldnt sustain the way moyes did
@CharlieBarnicle Moyes had shoestring budget and achieved top 7 consistently, best record of any recent efc manager. inherited a squad from dyche and achieved 2nd position on form table - you think now we have TFG for a year and half we can get pep on board 🙈
@rsjr_52 I don’t think moyes thinks he’s bigger than the club. I think most everton fans think the club is bigger than it is - look at recent league positions! Let’s be honest - he is the only manager in recent times that had everton finishing top 7 consistently on shoe string budget
@jim_keoghan Lots of Everton fans crying about Moyes comments here. Moyes is the only manager that had us finishing top 7 in recent times on a shoestring budget. Wasn’t his best press conference but let’s get behind him. Grass is not always greener on the other side, surely we all know this!
@JoshC_mufc2@lefc1878_ Everton are going in the right direction with Moyes at the helm. Problem is many of the fans have memory span of a goldfish and have unrealistic expectations. It’s a big club yes but just look at recent league positions. Pre moyes the club was looking likely to get relegated 🙈
