And that's a wrap! We're sweaty and bug bitten, but these girls did a great job!! The first #NLCCdtbonding was a success!

Cross conference bonding!!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Tomorrow the NLCC is doing a cross-conference bonding day and I'll be with Lakes!! Can't wait to see you dancers rock those high ropes! 💕

Good luck to those dancers heading off to dance camps!! It's hard work, but the memories you make and things you learn will be priceless!!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

@8CAmallory and an even tougher 3A!! You all deserve medals today! 🏅🏆

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

It's more important to be improving as a team each season than how you compete! This has been an extremely tough finals 2A!!! Very proud!!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

@IHSAState but they're playing check yes Juliet by We the kings between so I need to stop complaining

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Trying not to cry as the @IHSAState dance live stream skips during 2A and 3A performances...

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Good luck to everyone performing today at day 1!!! This year I'll be watching all day from my room in wisco! Anyone else watching online?!

[8CountAudio-IL Dance @8CountAudio]

Sectionals at GNHS 3A-2: (in order)
1. Stevenson (CHAMPS)
2. Warren
3. Glenbrook South
4. Loyola Academy
5. Whitney Young
6. Morton

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Warren!!!! The backwards roll into a plank!! What! Way to put all that heart and athleticism onto the floor today! Your fans are very proud!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Glenbrook South- amazing!! I loved every second of your routine!! And beautiful job hitting that fifth position in all the jumps!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Niles North comes in with a very strong themed routine! Great job to the soloist for keeping character and love the costume change!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

I've never seen pom done to Burlesque, but Morton showed it's possible!! Be proud of those leaps and jumps team! That height was amazing

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Loyola Academy uses Rise Up as a chance to really show off their ballet technique as well! That tour jete and improv transition were great!!

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Stevenson's choreo is so intelligent! Clever formations and that beginning with the groups and soloists coming out. An element of surprise

[8CountAudio- Mallory @8CAmallory]

Whitney Young has such strong dancers that are able to perform so well! Not only are they able to hear the music, but they bring it to life!
