@bonestaz@ClarkyHeraldSun In hindsight, yes. As I said, it’s an unprecedented event. I don’t think anyone would even consider that someone would have a “mental health episode” during a game. I can understand if they have given him the benefit of the doubt and then pulled the pin once it became certain
@RalphyHeraldSun The teammates?!?? How they have treated their captain and clearly best player is embarrassing. If the club had looked internally and said “We, as a club, need to be better on and off the field and show Zach that there is a future here” then this isn’t as big of a story.
@RalphyHeraldSun But that also speaks volumes to the development and coaching of the players at Essendon. Hawthorn were able to recognise his skills and attributes and utilise them accordingly. Can’t say the Bombers have had elite wingman that forced him out of the team.
At 28 and with nearly 100 T20 games under his belt Sam Harper still lacks game awareness and the ability to trust his game to play traditional cricket shots. Ave of under 20 and under 15 this year, it’s time for the league to move on from him. #BBL14
@hollows99@barstoolsports@cjgrant_18 Absolutely. Giving his Team USA spot up to Banks in #2 wasn’t heroic. It was inevitable that he was going to be cut. Hot mum was nowhere to be seen
I hope every kid, especially the girls, were able to sit with their family and watch an amazing spectacle. The Matilda’s are inspiring a whole nation. Bring on Wednesday! #WWC2023
Imagine if the media cast the same amount of scrutiny on the umpiring this year as they did the Parker/Sheil incident. The umpiring was below standard and the ending was a farce. #AFLSwansTigers
