@danny_cryptofay I proposed and discussed this "from principle" inside of Catalyst a few times until I had to give up because no-one understands it and I don't have the time to see it through.
I'm really concerned that when the next bull market inevitably hits, an even smaller percentage of crypto users will give a crap about decentralization & trust minimization than did last time in the "degen" boom.
10 years ago today @aaronsw took his own life after overly aggressive prosecution.
He invented internet infrastructure.
He defeated the greatest threat the Internet had ever seen.
And you probably don't know who he is.
You should.
Here’s his story 🧵
The issue is fixed now, we are monitoring the attacker now creating orders and canceling them because he can't get ahead of the users.
Attacker Address: addr1v8ed5favus306qk82g7kvrqqx34lpayqeu6an3nzynfzwscjx5tsr
We're working on a detailed report and we will publish it ASAP.
Yo Cardano Projects! About those team tokens...
LBRY Decision as to final prong of Howey:
"by retaining hundreds of millions of LBC for itself, LBRY also signaled that it was motivated to work tirelessly to improve the value of its blockchain for
itself and any LBC purchasers."
#Crypto land is famous for this. Not saying we need to spout Financial Advice but we could do a better job leading in the right direction rather than “Do Your Own Research!” https://t.co/1LeJ8GWPd4 #Cardano $ADA
@danny_cryptofay @AbderrahimAiss@SebastienGllmt @optimismFND Catalyst already does. Imagine filtering out every project that got less than a 4 stars review before voting.
@SebastienGllmt @optimismFND There should be no barriers to entry. Randomized processes of assessment (technical and social) can be run through large numbers. Large and small projects from emergent or reputed teams should be financed if they pass the appropriate community filters.
@rickmccracken Why not use decentralized, permissionless, blockchain technology to run any number of proposals through the assessment and voting process. With 1 Mio. users and sufficiently incentivized voting we could cast 1000 independent and individual votes on 1000 proyects.

Let’s talk about @Cardano_CF efforts, results and most importantly our perception.
Jan 2022, CEO Frederik Gregaard @F_Gregaard published this blog outlining the 5 pillars (priorities) that the CF was going to focus on.
With the summit coming up, lets see how they’ve done:
re: minPoolCost to 0 in Cardano
I've always been in favor of this, and I would pair it with a new minimum margin instead.
0% margin, 0 minPoolCost is dangerous because it means pools are strongly incentivized to weaponize stakers for profit ↓
#Cardano's #ProjectCatalyst 🏗️
Time to pause and reflect during 🆒🔽.
Slowing down allows us to release energy to look at the process of Catalyst and reflect upon opportunities how to meaningfully improve and iterate forward. 🧵1/n 👇
Let's hivemind peer/stakeholder review CIP-50 for improving #Cardano decentralization. CIP-50 for Nakamoto >50! Link to the full proposal, stakeholder reviews/discussion, and supporters list: https://t.co/BYeQQAl1Ns
