If you actually care about safety of children, why is your platform that is clearly best suited for adults not 18+? Wouldn't that solve everything?

Toxicity is mostly perpetuated by kids. You can ban kids if you make it 18+. It solves everything. You say you listen, but how did none of the angry posts reach you? Your age verification and "age assurance" policies got bypassed AND those who used them in good faith got exposed.

Many of us rely on anonymity. That is why they use VRChat. "Adult space" doesn't mean porn. It means bloody privacy. Are you kidding me?

You are speaking about age assurance using a NSFW avatar which @dtupper is using and don't even credit the creator.

In most countries you need to be adult in order to arrange for internet connection. Maybe except for public wifi. But hey, to play VRC you need more than public wifi for the concerning things. Isn't the one paying for the bloody connection supposed to be responsible?

Parents are responsible. Not us. I understand noone has enough time for anything, but hell. Don't punish everyone and strip them of their privacy. And no- none of the bollocks about how this is perfectly safe. It isn't. How many times did it backfire? Every bloody time.

My privacy is mine. It's not about gooning. It's not about NSFW. It's about trust. It's about OUR safety as adults and our rights to free speech. If you want to protect kids there is an easy solution.

SET YOUR GAME AS 18+.

It's that easy! Then we revert to the good old days of "Are you adult (18+)? [Yes]/[No]."

What is so hard about that? If you are so transparent enlighten us why it is better to give us a 7 minute corporate propaganda piece rather than just giving it straight (or queer if you prefer. It's pride month after all.) to us.

"Adult content" doesn't mean just NSFW stuff. It's stuff about adult culture. Like alcohol, firearms, more expensive hobbies typically not enjoyed by those without income, TTRPGs aimed at adults, cars, talking about higher education, talking about raising a family or just having a damn down to earth chat about the stress of being an adult to begin with... because of ALL OF THIS.

You say you listen? Sure. Show me. I'll be streaming tomorrow (Saturday Amsterdam time 4 pm) and start with this and I'll do the same on Monday (Speaking about Monday Amsterdam time). If you want to, join me. Hell, if you contact me in advance I can join you on your own platform.
