@AnasSarwar Congratulations, it's been sixteen years since you won a constituency and you've been in charge of Scottish Labours two worst defeats. Being elevated to the upper chamber you once committed to abolish means you never have to fight an election again, and lose. ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ฝ
@SimplyGregster@electricfelix@RoamingNorway Had mine for a couple of months now. Enjoying it so far but the rumoured OTA update will bring a ton of improvements such as better voice control, driver profiles and menu customisation options.
Agree with the tyres too.
Imagine an elected representative walking around, taking videos of people going about their daily lives and blurring out people who aren't white, as if they are the problem.
Then imagine someone who isn't elected, nor white, doing the same.
What a creep.
I think the answer here is to not park illegally. Doing so would would mean no more fines and it would save us the constant victim mentality from those who don't believe the rules of the road should apply to them.
๐จ Our volunteer food collection van arrived at 5:30pm to collect donated food for people experiencing homelessness.
By 5:32pm just 2 minutes later it had been issued with a ยฃ50 parking ticket.
If this happens every day, it will cost our charity ยฃ50 every time we collect food money that should be feeding people, not paying parking penalties.
We're asking @GlasgowCC City Council to work with us to find a practical solution before this begins to affect this vital service.
Please share. ๐

@DavidDhenry Gosh, if only the Electoral Commission had accounts of all spending by each participant and had a website where you could find such information. Oh wait, they did, and they do.
Brian was a decent human being and would have something to say about being used as ammunition for this tacky, cheap political point-scoring from John here. The man deserves dignity. Find some class.
Several media organisations have been hounding my daughter.
When I approached the boss of Sky News and complained, they denied any contact โ and so did their news report.
Sky News are liars. I demand an apology from them and a promise not to repeat it.
Nigel Farage:
"This money was given to me so that I would be safe and secure for the rest of my life."
Also:
โThis was given to me on an unconditional basis, completely unconditional basis. But, frankly, it was given as a reward for campaigning for Brexit for 27 years,โ
โThe SNPโs poisonous Westminster cadre is reduced by one. Itโs a shame it wasnโt Pete โSlippersโ Wishart or one of his party cohorts who all go south to sleep for Scotlandโ โฆ my column in @heraldscotland https://t.co/jqU1caw6sL
@suehard He had an administrative and organisational role for the Conservative Party. As a backbench Tory MP, his party was in government but he never had an executive Ministerial position or a frontbench government role.
The FM in the past week gave additional funding for SAMH and now a charity providing free football and wellbeing sessions, benefitting thousands. Offord is in the fortunate position to be able to give through charity. He has 6 houses, 6 boats and 5 cars after all. Not the same.
At a @streetsoccerSCO fundraising event in Boston, First Minister @JohnSwinney announced ยฃ275,000 for the charity to expand its free football and wellbeing sessions, helping people access mental health, employment and housing support.

The voting system for Scottish Parliamentary Elections needs review.
Parties from across the political spectrum have tried to mis-use the system by encouraging voters to tactically vote one party on the first ballot and for another on the second- essentially doubling the voting power of a smaller group of voters.
The Scottish Greens are the biggest winners from this- standing aside in all but 6 constituencies to allow the SNP to win, while standing full slates on the list.
The result? The SNP's list vote was 11% lower than their constiteuncy, the Green's list was 12% higher than their constituency. I'll leave you to figure out what happened!
Perhaps a change could be that in order for a candidate to appear on the list, they would need to stand in a constituency.
Today I beat Family Party, Socialist Party, Independence For Scotland, Workers Party, Christian Party, Common Party and UKIP. But ultimately failed.
Thank you to all who supported me throughout. Sorry we didnโt make it.
NEW: Reformโs candidate for East Kilbride Dr Tim Kelly quits.
It comes after my stories on him being a covid vaccine sceptic and someone who has said he does not care at all about carbon dioxide in relation to climate change.
@stuartpowell@Pastillekoala Asking legitimate questions doesn't equate to throwing stones. Have the membership ranked their candidates? Who decided which candidate goes where, and the ranking on the list?
I've looked up the candidate for my area and can't find out anything about him.
