hay to all filo k-pop stans out there, i hope you guys are watching the senate and impeachment trials as much as you watch your faves. tignan n’yo kung paano tayo tinatrato ng mga binoboto at iniluluklok natin sa puwesto.
everything is political, kahit sa k-pop. hindi lang ito tungkol sa idols or fanwars. politics affects our education, trabaho, healthcare, rights, at kinabukasan. you can stream your faves and still stay informed at the same time.
and don’t even start with, “eh kung walang concert dito ng faves ko, edi pupunta ako ng ibang bansa.” that’s not even the point. not everyone has the privilege to fly abroad, and people shouldn’t have to leave the country just to access opportunities or experiences. if artists and events keep skipping the philippines, maybe ask why. look at the bigger picture instead of brushing it off.
artists and tour organizers don’t just randomly skip countries. there are many factors they consider—taxes, logistics, venue availability, infrastructure, security, regulations, market conditions, and the overall business environment. government policies can influence those conditions, even if they’re not the only reason. so instead of acting like it’s completely unrelated to politics, maybe look at the bigger picture.
support your idols, but don’t stop paying attention to what’s happening in our country. being a k-pop stan and being politically aware can coexist. hold those in power accountable.
there's nothing that pisses me off more than white ppl's unsolicited opinions. as if we hadn't had enough of them inserting themselves into our shit. and the AI accusation too, like really???🙄
honoring several near-identical cartoon lesbian relationships feels unbearably cringe until those last three lines of ChatGPT tripe remind you that there’s a real value to the earnestness of an embarrassing paragraph written by an actual human who is just excited about something

Every time someone says they've never watched Haikyuu I become the kind of person that seems like they're in a cult cause I'll spend twenty minutes explaining the intricacies of volleyball and how defeat is never permanent and there's always tomorrow and now I'm the weird one
