@AKing_Evals He keeps it when he should hand it off, and hands it off when he should keep it. He throws exceptionally late and skips over reads. Then the over and under throws. He just really poor at decision-making and execution. Two things you absolutely have to have to be QB1.

@Sooners1866 @TravisSkol Hes started QB for 5 yrs. I'd say their well past coaching. This isnt all on Arbuckle, but he has to understand they can not run the ball. Stop trying. Give Mateer the first half against TX, and if he sucks, pull him. OU/TX isnt the game to start a new QB.

@GabeIkard After watching the Michigan game and this game, do you honestly expect them to keep playing Mateer? Hes more of a liability than Arnold was in 2024.

@RealSkipBayless I doubt they win 4 more games this year with Mateer. Arbuckle wasnt bad today, but heads need to roll regardless. BV better make some serious decisions soon or he will lose most of the fans (if their not already lost).

@OUFball218 Having a competent offense, OU (I dare say) might even be ahead. Had it not been for Mateer, it would be 14-0 I believe. Maybe 17 without Beers fumble.
