They’ve genuinely made a good game, but only because they copied a mod. A mod that never had wipes. Had customization. Self-hosting. Etc. think. Why.

@BigfryTV Its simple, attitude of joe is reflected, things like “refund it” “do not buy” “the game is not for you”, this makes them think thats what they should also do, its a very well known thing, thats why AAA companies restrict higher-ups from speaking plainly. It sucks.

@Brammflakes in the end, its your game and decision, but one advice, i might be a random account on X thats yapping, forget the optics you have, focus on following what arma does. release the server files, let people host and develop their own ecosystems. you will only win that way.

@HowardPhilpott @WARDOGSUpdates let us fucking host, security through obsecurity is a failure of a model, arma 3 community servers survived because they could host themselves and people developed their own anti-cheat like infiSTAR, if performance is a concern, let the binaries refuse to run under specific reqs

@HowardPhilpott @WARDOGSUpdates we're in regions not covered by your providers, nor they have good routing to them, + if your concern is cheaters using server binaries. disconnect it from the game economy, its a downside the community will accept like any other self-hosted servers. you cant do this alone.
