This is not a Chinese family going on vacation with their dog.
This is a dog likely bought from a wet market for meat. They have tied the poor animal to the back of their car and are driving on the highway as if he is just luggage.
He has no idea what is waiting for him.
That is what makes this so heartbreaking. This dog is still alive, still trusting, still innocent — and yet he is being treated with no care, no mercy, and no dignity.
Dog meat eating is still a cruel reality in parts of China. Many of these dogs are stolen pets or helpless strays.
No dog deserves this fate.
Dogs are companions. They are not food.
So, even after 12 years, Rahul Gandhi himself is convinced that the young voter is his only hope because the older cohorts remember what the UPA Government was like. And they will never jump ship lock, stock and barrel to the Congress party.
That should really tell the young voters how terrible the UPA Government was. So terrible that even Rahul Gandhi believes no one who has memory of that era will vote for the Congress again.
If you recall Rahul Gandhi's campaign during the 2014 elections, he projected himself as a clean break from the mis-governance of the UPA era.
He disassociated himself completely from the UPA Government, which was easy for him to do since he was not part of the Government officially.
His essential message was: "You should vote for the UPA again because I will head it now. The UPA under me will not be like it has been so far."
Recall Rahul Gandhi's now infamous interview with Arnab Goswami ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
He failed spectacularly in making a case for the UPA. He could not provide any comprehensive vision as to why people should vote for the UPA again.
That is because he himself believed that the Congress party had no chance of winning if they relied on the track record of the UPA heading into the elections.
12 years on, that belief still has not changed.
Consider the difference between the BJP and the Congress party here:
The BJP consistently credits Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his model of Governance. You'll even find them crediting Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's Vision of Governance or Shyama Prasad Mukherjee's even.
But the Congress party only talks about Nehru: The Man, Indira Gandhi: The Woman and Rajiv Gandhi: The Man. They hardly ever rely on their governance model to win voters.
They do speak about Indira Gandhi's War against Pakistan but that's a singular event. That's not a model of Governance.
When it comes to Manmohan Singh, they simply ignore his Prime Ministerial tenure like a bad memory.
I will not delve much into electoral arithmetics here. I will stick to explaining the mentality of the Congress Party.
What this reveals the most about the Congress Party, and Rahul Gandhi himself, is that he has absolutely no confidence in relying on the track record of governance of his own party to win back voters.
Even he believes that relying on UPA's governance will likely distance the electorate even further from the Congress party.
So they have stuck their entire fortune in winning over sections of the electorate they believe do not remember what UPA era governance was like.
Their logic is pretty straightforward: Muslim Vote + Dalit Votes + UC Youth Vote.
But their major problem is that, there is no evidence that vote blocks in India vary much by age. It varies at the level of caste, class, religion and, in the Modi Era, even gender.
But age? Not so much. Not to any significant extent capable of affecting elections on its own.
There's a reason for this. They are themselves convinced that the UPA era was so bad that absolutely no one who started voting for the BJP due to the mis-governance of the UPA-era would ever vote for them again.
Of course, they may not entirely be wrong in their analysis.
The entire PR of the Congress party on social media, and even out of it, is geared towards this under-30 cohort. Just look at their messaging, they have given up on the 30+ age group completely.
It's because they are convinced that this cohort is the only one they have a reasonable chance of convincing them to change their vote.
There's a reason why the Congress party is absolutely obsessed with the "Youth Vote". More specially, the votes of people who are under 30 years of age.
Most of it has to do with the fact that they have given up on winning over the votes of people who have any lasting memory of what UPA rule looked like.
Meet Kalpana Wilson: Marxist academic who blamed Hindus for Leicester violence and sought Delhi Riots accused Umar Khalid to be released; heckles CJI Surya Kant in London
https://t.co/G3bCyomukA
CJI Surya Kant was heckled during a lecture at Birkbeck, London, drawing condemnation from the High Commission of India.
The woman was identified as Kalpana Wilson, a Marxist academic linked to anti India campaigns and leftist networks.
From blaming Hindus for Leicester violence to seeking Umar Khalid’s release, her profile raises far more questions.

A vlogger's Kashmir experience raises serious questions.
He claims that the moment he mentions the Indian Army, PM Modi, or Yogi ji, Kashmiris turns hostile instantly.
He alleged that Kashmiris blamed the Army for the instability and accused it of having "bad intentions" towards women, instead of blaming the terrorists. When he protested, he was threatened.
At the Martand Sun Temple, locals lied and claimed it was destroyed by "lightning," not by Islamic invaders, and threatened him for recording the truth.
He also found a Shivling in a locked temple where no Jalabhishek was allowed.
He alleged that even a cop harassed him after hearing "Gorakhpur" and let him go only after taking a bribe.
So Khan sir's PR spread a narrative that he charges very low fees for coaching... This girl exposes Khan Sir and his lies 😂 Everyday it is proved anjana Om Kashyap was right!
CORPORATE JIHAD IN WIPRO🚨
Hindu woman alleges she was fired by Wipro, for refusing to convert to Islam.
After TCS and SBI, now JIHAD in WIPRO😡
The victim claims Wipro management protected an employee Shahina Rafiq, who had pressurised the victim to embrace Islam.
She's an ex-employee of Wipro (Pune).
She was pressured to convert, enter into a relationship with a Muslim man, and was forced to quit after she refused.
She even complained to the top management, but they refused to listen to her.
This is the condition in so-called big companies; imagine the condition of Hindu girls in small companies....

Throwing eggs in a BJP ruled state would become a nationl issue
But throwing crude bombs under TMC was never a problem for anyone.
This is exactly why I want BJP govt in every state
