@nas_collectionz@itsAbdoul_@love_oluebube@iamStankovicss No. They don't.
Death, one of the surest things in the World is rarely planned for or ever acknowledged.
Why would anyone give birth to 18 children without enough funds to even feed 3 if they did?
@machalagun@omotodun_ We are responding to you. Which means she is not having everything we wanted after all. Your second paragraph is already False.

@otienowill Dear Kenyans : I just want to say this; governance is not easy...but if you all are true to yourselves; victory is assured.

If you found this annoying; there is a solution-pick a mirror and speak to the one you see there ππͺ
If you invest from an angle of knowledge with the right mindset and the correct strategy while you continually monitor the market and events in the country pertaining to publicly listed companies, quarterly results, politics of business etc., my personal opinion is you will be a winner in investing on the #NGX
I will not invest in anything that l think will separate me from my money. To have a loss mindset is if you are a follow follow investor, you don't know what you are doing, you are not committed to learning, you are impatient, you let emotions take over you, temporary flunctuations make you panic sell good stocks etc.
Again, never invest your house rent, school fees, spouse's money etc. Never use loans to invest on the NGX. That is a short cut to high blood pressure.
As always, know what you are doing. Any money that you cannot leave on the NGX for at least 2-5yrs without affecting your day to day expenses, pls don't invest it. Investment is not gambling. Please be very clear about this.
Learn ! Learn !! Learn !!!
How you learn is up to you. Just know what you are doing please.
Investment is bespoke !!!
@mjodeleke@ProfitableMan1 Volume is just the indicator for what was sold or bought.
If a comapny has 40billion units and people sold 39billion units...the volume would definitely increase...guess what the price would be and the valuation?..almost Nada.
My conviction here is that we don't have an effective policy that enlightens the masses of the necessity of Insurance and same policy institutonalizing insurance.
If we have any, the market would soar side by side banking sector or even more.
(Undervalued)
The entire Nigerian insurance sector on the NGX is worth less than β¦1 trillion combined. Here is the full breakdown. π³π¬π
The NGX Insurance Index tracks the 15 most capitalized and liquid insurance stocks on the exchange.
Market cap: β¦924.32 Billion
P/E Ratio: 8.88
Here are all 15 constituents:
MANSARD β β¦12.85
NEM β β¦29.00
CONHALLPLC β β¦7.28
AIICO β β¦4.40
MBENEFIT β β¦3.70
SUNUASSUR β β¦3.61
WAPIC β β¦2.55
SOVRENINS β β¦2.25
LASACO β β¦1.95
LINKASSURE β β¦1.59
VERITASKAP β β¦1.45
PRESTIGE β β¦1.48
UNIVINSURE β β¦1.07
REGALINS β β¦1.01
CORNERSTONE β β¦6.10
Notice something. Most of these stocks trade under β¦10. NEM at β¦29 is the most expensive name in the entire sector, and even that is considered cheap compared to banking or industrial stocks.
A P/E ratio of 8.88 means the market is pricing this entire sector at less than 9 times earnings. For comparison, many growth sectors trade at 15 to 20 times earnings or higher.
This tells you the insurance sector on the NGX is either deeply undervalued or the market has genuine concerns about growth and claims exposure in the industry. Both are worth researching before you decide which one it is.
Cheap is not the same as good value. Always check why a sector is priced the way it is. π³π¬
Not financial advice. Do your own research.
@Folugboji@cwest2410@Tringers__ Leaving room for misunderstandings come in when dealing with opinions, not when one is implying a fact of what is just an opinion. E.g, one can't imply the Sun sets from the North, and tries to make others to hold that as the fact to be misunderstanding. Call it out asap.
@Folugboji@cwest2410@Tringers__ Exactly why I was surprised why she pinpointed that and you agreed. It was as if it is generally known that men marry only for sex....
@Folugboji@cwest2410@Tringers__ If you agreed with her first point, my question to you is, do men marry because of sex? I am really puzzled why that one came out as one of her points and you readily agreedπ€
