Heard County (Ga.) QB Ethan Tisdale has committed to Memphis, becoming the first member of the Tigers’ 2027 recruiting class.

“My heart was in Memphis,” the 6-foot-1 dual-threat said after choosing the Tigers over multiple Power Four programs.

Former Memphis offensive lineman Jordan Devey passed away at age 38 on Thursday.

Devey started every game during his two seasons with the Tigers before going on to a seven-year NFL career and winning Super Bowl XLIX with the New England Patriots.
