@RPowellDennis97 A7: The most important resource that we can offer students right now is access. We must make sure families know we are here to support them and their student’s academic development.

@RPowellDennis97 A6: To lift the voices of stakeholders we must connect and engage (meaningfully) with parents, families and communities. Meeting people where they are, recognizing their stories has to be part of the process.

@RPowellDennis97 A5: COVID exposed systemic problems: inequities in technology access and accessibility of communications to parents. These are immediate needs...esp w/ upcoming budget reductions, resources must be prioritized to communities with the most need.

@RPowellDennis97 A4: The district should hold school leadership accountable for the development and support of teachers during this time as well as ensuring best practices are being shared for better educational outcomes for students. We need intentional professional development!
